Prada Veteran Liliana Lucioni Named Coach China President

Tapestry Inc. has appointed Liliana Lucioni president of Coach China.

Lucioni took the reins on March 1, succeeding Yann Bozec, who previously held the title of Tapestry Asia-Pacific president, president and chief executive officer of Coach China. Bozec retained the title of president of Tapestry APAC while taking on a new role as president and CEO of Coach APAC.

Lucioni will report to Bozec; both will be based in Shanghai.

Lucioni joined Coach in 2019 as vice president of merchandising for Coach Asia.

Prior to Coach, Lucioni had more than 20 years of merchandising and buying experience working for luxury brands such as Saint Laurent and Prada.

With a degree in Chinese art and literature, Lucioni speaks fluent Mandarin and has also studied in the Beijing Language and Culture University and Fudan University in Shanghai.

“This appointment will create more bandwidth for our Tapestry leaders to support the long-term success of our house of brands in the region, while also enhance Coach brand’s strategic growth in China and in the APAC region,” Coach wrote in a press release. “In this new role, she will be responsible for developing and achieving Coach China long-term brand strategy and business growth plans in China.”
