Porsche and La Marzocco's New Espresso Machine Will Take Your Coffee Into 8th Gear

And there are only 911 units.

Looking for a super fast coffee that will put you in sixth gear? La Marzocco and Porsche are here to deliver.

In late October, the Italian coffee machine brand and the famed Italian car manufacturer announced that they created an espresso machine that both coffee fans and car aficionados will adore.

The special edition of the Linea Micra portafilter model, the two brands announced, is limited to 911 units, a number any true Porche fan will instantly recognize, as the machine's design is inspired by the 911 Carrera RSR. The machine comes in two design options: The original Porsche Slate Grey Neo color or the Martini Racing design.

“Porsche and La Marzocco share a common mission: we excel through exclusive design, quality, and heritage," Deniz Keskin, the director of brand management and partnerships at Porsche AG, shared in a statement. "We are united by our attention to detail. And both brands thrive through strong customer bases that value these qualities. With our collaboration, we want to bring these groups together."

The machine, the two companies added, comes with plenty of nuanced details emblematic of the Porsche sports cars, including the steamer twist handles bearing "similarities to the Porsche drive mode switch;" the magnetic drip tray and the cup warmer having the same color design of the Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package; and the analog pressure gauges, which they say are "reminiscent of a Porsche speedometer." They also used anodized aluminum on the rotary handles for an extra high-end touch.

The espresso machine is available in the Porsche Centers, in the Porsche online shop, and in Porsche Design stores. Get one before they speed off the shelves.
