Popular Trinity Leeds bar and restaurant's goodbye message as big names look to replace it
A prominent Trinity Leeds business has given a message to customers following its closure.
As we’ve previously reported, Angelica and Crafthouse, announced plans to shut earlier this month with it welcoming the venue’s last customer over the weekend. David Loewi, chief executive officer of the D&D London restaurant and hotel group, said the decision to close the restaurant had been made after a ‘comprehensive review of business operations’.
Following the closure, a goodbye message has appeared on the former venue’s website: “Dear friends, please note that Angelica and Crafthouse has now permanently closed. The team is truly grateful for the support and loyalty of our guests, who have made every service something to remember.

“We would love to continue serving you at our other exceptional restaurants. To explore the full D&D London collection, please see here. Best wishes, D&D London and the Angelica & Crafthouse team.”
The team at Leeds Trinity has revealed there’s been lots of interest in taking on the rooftop setting at the shopping centre.
A spokesperson for Trinity Leeds said: “We’re sad to see Angelica and Crafthouse go after so many years at Trinity Leeds, and their impact on the city’s dining scene since they arrived over a decade ago will continue for some time to come.
“Taking up such an iconic location at the top of Trinity Leeds, in the heart of the city centre, it’s perhaps no surprise that there’s been interest from brands keen to invest in the space, so we look forward to announcing what’s coming next in the new year.”
