Platinum Jubilee: Prince Charles and Prince William to pay tribute to Queen at Jubilee concert
Prince Charles and Prince William are due to pay tribute to the Queen this evening as part of the star-studded Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.
The father and son - both future kings - will speak separately in honour of the monarch towards the end of the open-air show, which will see the likes of Diana Ross, Alicia Keys and George Ezra take to the stage.
Clarence House and Kensington Palace announced both Charles and William would address the crowds at the Platinum Party at the Palace, which will be attended by 22,000 people and televised live.
The Queen is unlikely to attend the event herself after it was announced she will be missing Derby Day at Epsom Downs racecourse later on Saturday.
The 96-year-old is a huge horse-racing fan but will skip the 243rd running of the Derby because of "episodic mobility problems" which also forced her to miss Friday's thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral.
She is likely to watch the racing event on television at Windsor Castle while the Princess Royal has arrived at the track in her place.
The track intends to honour the monarch with 40 jockeys who have ridden for the owner-breeder donning the royal silks to form a guard of honour, while a number of her former racehorses will parade.
It comes after a picture of the Queen, taken during a virtual call with the Australians of Year and the country's governor-general, was released.
Held last month, the Queen was in good spirits throughout the meeting, with the award recipients remarking with some surprise on her "cheeky" sense of humour.
Meanwhile, the Earl and Countess of Wessex have arrived in Belfast in Northern Ireland to meet children taking part in multicultural street performances.
They are also set to participate in art and craft sessions and hear people sharing their memories of meeting the Queen.
In Cardiff, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived with two of their children to meet the crew behind a jubilee concert being held at Cardiff Castle.
William and Kate, alongside eight-year-old Prince George and seven-year-old Princess Charlotte, are set to learn about the lighting, sound, and visual effects for the show, watch rehearsals and meet the hosts, Aled Jones and Shan Cothi.

The show will feature Mike Peters from The Alarm, singer Bonnie Tyler, West End star John Owen Jones, drumming weatherman Owain Wyn Evans and the Pendyrus Male Voice Choir.
The performances will finish at 7pm when the crowds can watch the Platinum Party At The Palace on giant screens in the castle grounds.
At 8pm, the Platinum Party At The Palace will begin with tickets already allocated to 10,000 members of the general public and 5,000 to key workers.
The royals will arrive at 7.40pm and the concert will last for two-and-a-half hours.
It will see the return of rock band Queen, whose guitarist Brian May performed on the roof of Buckingham Palace for the previous Party at the Palace in 2002. They will be accompanied by singer Adam Lambert.
Sir Elton John will feature in a pre-recorded performance, while other stars include Alicia Keys, Nile Rodgers, Andrea Bocelli, Duran Duran, Hans Zimmer, Ella Eyre, Craig David, Mabel, Elbow, George Ezra and the UK's recent Eurovision star Sam Ryder.
There will be appearances by Sir David Attenborough, Stephen Fry, US Open winner Emma Raducanu, David Beckham, Paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds, Dame Julie Andrews and members of the Royal Ballet.
Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has curated a set of performances reflecting how Britain has changed throughout the Queen's reign in the fields of fashion, music, sport, and the environment.
They will include an appearance by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and performances by the casts of The Phantom Of The Opera, Hamilton, Six, The Lion King and Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
