A Place In the Sun presenter Sara Damergi was faced with a rather uncomfortable encounter with a particularly difficult house hunter during her time on the series.

The 41 year old, who kicked off her journey on the beloved property programme ten years ago, reminisced about one incident that has become legendary amongst fans.

When speaking about the episode which aired around a decade ago, Sara previously told the Express: "There's an infamous show that whenever it's played in the world people message me and say, 'why didn't he go in the house?'."

She continued: "There was a guy who wouldn't go into the house and got very angry and people always message me to ask if I'm OK - it was like 8 years ago!".

During the interview in 2021, the real estate whizz and mum of two also shared her top gripes when it comes to filming the show. Sara said: "It's frustrating when you and the team put in a lot of work and [house hunters] change their minds on what they want, which has happened on numerous occasions."

Sara expressed her exasperation: "But sometimes people change their minds halfway through and of course it's frustrating, as you want to do the best job for them and want them to be happy."

Despite the occasional setbacks, Sara confessed that the most indecisive house hunters often lead to the most entertaining episodes.

"Sometimes they end up being the best shows, as they know exactly what they want and quite often, they will buy and will have found their dream home by the end of it," she continued.

However, she confessed that their indecisiveness often comes with a cost - usually leaving the crew and the APITS team to make the adjustments.

Sara returned to A Place In The Sun a few years ago following a brief hiatus when she went on maternity leave in 2018. The star welcomed her son Oliver and decided to take a step back from her hosting duties.

But after her maternity leave, Sara revealed that her plan to return to the property show was derailed when she landed another presenting job - Coast vs Country.
