PinkPantheress Doubles Down on the Statement Belt in Plaid Mini Dress at Coperni’s Fall 2025 Show During Paris Fashion Week

PinkPantheress made a case for the statement belt at Paris Fashion Week. The music star doubled down on the aughts trend in a Y2K-recalling look at Coperni‘s fall 2025 show.

PinkPantheress opted to wear a twice belted plaid mini dress from the label’s pre-fall 2025 collection, pairing it with a matching baguette bag and a pair of knee-high boots with sheer knee-high socks. She completed her look with a pendant necklace and layered bracelets.

Her embrace of statement belts is right on time, as the Y2K-era accessory has been creeping back onto the red carpet and runways. Last month Queen Letizia of Spain embraced the aughts era staple while topping her gray Cortana “Felicita” wool dress with an oversized statement belt.

The Y2K revival has been going strong on the runway and the red carpet for a few years now, and was kicked off in part by Miu Miu’s hotly coveted micro mini skirt for spring 2022. Along with micro mini skirts, cargo pants, ballet flats, Uggs, Ed Hardy, butterfly tops, low-rise jeans, and even skinny jeans have making a comeback.

Plaid has also been trending, and was one of the breakout patterns on the runway for fall 2024 with designers such as Chemena Kamali at Chloé, Maria Grazia Chiuiri at Dior, Daniel Lee at  Burberry, Jonathan Anderson at  Loewe, Yohji Yamamoto, and Alberta Ferretti all putting forth takes on it.

PinkPantheress has been busy during Paris Fashion Week, taking in the shows of not only Coperni but also McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, and Acne, where she suited up in another plaid ensemble. For the event, she donned the brand’s green bow skirt with the check button-up shirt — look 32 from Acne’s spring 2025 collection. She paired it with the Camero Camera shoulder bag and a pair of boxy leather mules.

Meanwhile, yesterday at the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood‘s fall 2025 show she donned a blue dress with tartan plaid trim at the neckline, along with a layered pearl necklace, plaid shoulder bag, and plaid bow in her hair. PinkPantheress was joined in the front row the show by Paris Jackson, Chappell Roan, Ice Spice, and Jazzelle Zanaughtti.
