Pillsbury Is Launching a Limited-Edition Holiday Baking Line at Walmart

Get ready to stir up some holiday magic.

October is finally here, and that means it's time to welcome back the season's best cast of characters: the Great Pumpkin, Casper the Friendly Ghost, and, of course, the Sanderson sisters. But as we settle in for spooky movie marathons with our bowls of candy corn, Pillsbury is already prepping for the arrival of a favorite December character: The Elf on the Shelf.

And what better way to prepare for the Scout Elves’ antics than with a whole new lineup of holiday-themed treats? Think swirled cakes, colorful sprinkles, and festive flavors, all designed to make your holiday baking more magical—and a little more mischievous, too.

Pillsbury’s New Elf on the Shelf Baking Products

This year, Pillsbury is expanding its line of popular Elf on the Shelf products with even more baking mixes and frostings. The Funfetti collection is full of red and green colors, marshmallow swirls, and all the festive flavors you’d expect to come straight from Santa’s kitchen.

After launching the Elf on the Shelf cookie line last year, Pillsbury is upping the ante with cake, brownie, and cookie mixes. As with all Funfetti products, these new items are bright and playful, bringing instant holiday cheer to anyone who bakes (or eats) them.

Here’s what’s hitting the shelves this season:

• Swirl Red & White Vanilla Cake Mix: Featuring two pouches (one red and one white) to create a beautiful swirl cake—or 24 swirled cupcakes.

• Marshmallow Swirl Fudge Brownie Mix: A decadent brownie mix with gooey marshmallow swirls, perfect for crafting your own designs.

• Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix: A classic warmly spiced cookie mix.

As for the frostings, Pillsbury is adding a few new options to top off your holiday bakes:

• Hot Cocoa Whipped Frosting: A fluffy and chocolatey frosting that adds richness to any treats.

• Peppermint Vanilla Whipped Frosting: Available in two versions—one with colorful sprinkles and another with peppermint candy cane bits.

The new Elf on the Shelf baking products will be available from October through December, with prices ranging from $2.50 to $5. Some of these festive finds will be available at retailers nationwide, but if you’re looking to snag the brownie mix, snickerdoodle mix, or candy cane frosting, you’ll need to head to Walmart, where they’ll be sold exclusively.

We might not be ready quite yet for the Scout Elves to descend upon our homes and wreak havoc on our kitchens, but when they do arrive, Pillsbury will make sure they're greeted with the sweetest holiday treats possible.
