Piers Morgan forced to deny he's the Central Park pigeon lady in Home Alone 2
Piers Morgan has had to deny that he is the Pigeon Lady from the Home Alone films, as the festive classic once again returns to our screens for the holiday season. Every year, as fans re-watch Home Alone 2: Lost In New York to get into the Christmas spirit, they have noticed a striking resemblance between Piers and Brenda Fricker, the actress who plays the Pigeon Lady in the film - and this year was no exception.
One of Piers' followers posted a snap of the Pigeon Lady in the hit festive film as he tuned in at home. The X user jokingly penned: "Not sure how many acting credits he has but this is @piersmorgan’s finest work." Piers was quick to respond, stating: "It's. Not. Me."
Several users jokingly replied to the post. One person said: "How did I not know this? You were amazing in Home Alone 2," while a second added: "Don't lie, it's your best role yet!"

Somebody else said: "Stop lying Piers. You did amazing in this role!" and a fourth fan wrote: "Just say 'thank you for supporting my work' and move on."
This isn't the first time Piers has had to deny that he looks like the pigeon lady from Home Alone 2. In 2020, he responded to online comments about the comparison on Good Morning Britain, where he used to be a host.
Susanna Reid brought up the subject, causing Piers to laugh and ask: "Why does this keep going around?" Susanna replied: "Lots of people watch Home Alone 2 and wonder if this is you." Piers however insisted: "That is not me. I am not the bag lady in Home Alone 2!"
Showbiz reporter Richard Arnold, then asked: "How does Brenda Fricker feel about this?" And Susanna assured: "Yeah. She loves it." Piers continued to deny it, saying: "It's not my character. I have nothing to do with it." But Susanna argued it was his "best role".
Piers's own son had made fun of him over the comparisons just days before. Spencer Morgan, 31, had previously noticed the similarity between his dad and the character - so was delighted when Home Alone fans made the observation go viral again in 2020.
He tweeted at the time: "While I'm delighted it's back in the news let's not forget who started 'Pigeon Piers'." Dad Piers then clapped back by writing: : "Bold nuclear war to start with someone who has 7.7m followers, son... good luck."
