Piers Morgan criticises Victoria Beckham's carrier photo series: 'Have some dignity'

Victoria Beckham‘s name has been buzzing on the fashion circuit more than usual in the last couple of weeks, between her celebrated British Vogue cover (featuring the entire Beckham clan), her high-anticipated London Fashion Week homecoming, and the 10-year anniversary of her eponymous brand.

In celebration of the latter, the 44-year-old released the first ever campaign for her label which saw her recreate an iconic photoshoot from her past.

Echoing her famous 2008 Marc Jacobs campaign, in which she was photographed inside a giant carrier bag, VB once again climbed into a bag. Only this time, it was her own.

For the campaign, VB was photographed by renowned fashion photographer Juergen Teller – the same camera whizz who shot her Marc Jacobs campaign a decade previously.

One man who clearly couldn’t see the funny side was Piers Morgan, who decided to lambast the designer on ‘Good Morning Britain’.

“How do you improve Victoria Beckham’s looks? Put a bag on her head,” Morgan said when raising the topic on the show.

Clearly not grasping the tongue-in-cheek aspect, Morgan scathed: “What is she doing, seriously? Is there nothing the Beckhams won’t do?”

But it didn’t stop there, when Morgan went on to say: “What are you doing Victoria? Honestly. You’re a mother of four for goodness sake, have some dignity.

“You’ve got to wonder what goes on with the Beckhams.”

Victoria’s sense of humour is slowly becoming apparent.

Just last week, the mum-of-four revealed her British Vogue October cover in which she stars alongside her brood of four: Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, Harper, seven.

As part of the issue, Victoria took part in a satirical video for the publication in which she celebrates “one of the most enduring style icons of all time – me, Victoria Beckham.”

In the humorous video, Victoria dresses up as Cat Woman before unearthing some of her most iconic Posh Spice looks.
