Edinburgh Gin is commemorating the 75th anniversary of Edinburgh Fringe with 75 amazing prizes

Teaming up with award winning Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, official gin brand of The Fringe, Edinburgh Gin, has pulled together 75 special opportunities to win Fringe and Phoebe related prizes including hand-signed bottles of gin from Phoebe herself - all in a bid to raise funds to save the Fringe.

For three weeks in August, Edinburgh becomes an explosion of talent and creative energy from around the globe. Hundreds of stages and performance spaces are spread throughout the city to represent all kinds of glorious talent.

The late actor Alan Rickman made his debut at The Fringe fresh out of drama school in 1976, as did hilarious comedy duo Melanie Giedroyc and Sue Perkins - winning the Daily Express Best Newcomers Award for Naked Brunch in 1993. Miranda Hart, Rachel Weisz, and Robin Williams all gained wide recognition for their performances at The Fringe.

Edinburgh Gin has proudly collaborated with Phoebe to create a special limited-edition bottle that tells the inside story of her iconic work and its connection with the brand’s legendary home city. Phoebe’s breakthrough moment took place at the Fringe in 2013 when she debuted her one-woman-show Fleabag, gaining rave reviews which propelled her into global recognition. With the Fringe about to celebrate 75 years, Edinburgh Gin is donating all profits from sales of the Phoebe Waller-Bridge to the Festival’s artist fund to help the next generation of talent find their stardom at the Festival this year.

Neil Mowat, Brand Director at Edinburgh Gin said: “It was an honour to work with Phoebe. She is an incomparable talent – an amazing writer, actor and producer – who was so generous with her time, her stories and her care in bringing the project to life.”

Actress, writer and producer, Phoebe Waller-Bridge said: “Gin and theatre are my two great loves. We wanted this bottle to capture a glimpse of Edinburgh in all her mystery and wonder, through the eyes of Fleabag who found her first home there.

“I hope every purchase inspires outrageous and creative conversations over ice while bringing the beloved Fringe festival back to life. It’s important to add that Andrew Scott hand wrote a message on the bottle… if that isn’t incentive enough to hunt one down and hold it against your cheek, I don’t know what is.”

Phoebe first collaborated with the brand last year, so it's great to see the initiative continue into 2022.

To be in with a chance to win, you can purchase a bottle of final batch Edinburgh Gin Presents Phoebe Waller-Bridge here, or in the Edinburgh Gin Hanover Street Shop or the Edinburgh Gin Distillery from 13th July - with all profits going towards the Save the Fringe fund.

Winners will be contacted during August and September.
