Peter Crouch's Top 10 funniest tweets from celebrating with royalty to hanging out with giraffes
Peter Crouch has never been one to miss a good opportunity to make his fans laugh on social media.
The former Liverpool and England striker, currently playing for Stoke City, loves a good Twitter gag, mostly at the expense of his own 6ft 7in height.
But not all his best posts are about his stature, with Transfer Deadline Day to the Ballon d’Or and family days out being the target of his witty humour.
And on Wednesday, he struck again when he posted a picture of Lady Gaga wearing an oversized Marc Jacobs suit.
A star is born is one of the best films I have seen for such a long time.

Seizing the opportunity, Crouch wrote: “A star is born is one of the best films I have seen for such a long time. So much so I lent Lady Gaga one of my suits.”
In honour of Crouch winning the Internet yet again, here are 10 of his best tweets:

And, while it’s not a tweet, we couldn’t let an article go by without a nod to Crouch’s hilarious interview with Soccer AM all the way back in 2007 during which he revealed what he would be if he wasn't a footballer.
Chatting with the presenters on the show, Crouch delivered the killer line – “Had I not become a footballer, I think I would have been… a virgin.”
Never change Crouchy. Never change.
