Peter Andre's 4-word response to sixth baby just days after welcoming newborn
Peter Andre has opened up about the possibility of expanding his brood just days after welcoming his fifth child.
The 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker, who is already a dad to Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price, as well as Amelia, 10, and Theo, seven, with wife Emily, 34, recently welcomed their third child together at Musgrove Hospital in Taunton, Somerset.
At the time of the birth, he gushed: "We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family. Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy. Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn't be happier."
But when asked about the prospect of having a sixth child, he had a four response: "Please don't say that." He added to Woman magazine: "But I said I wouldn't have a fifth. Then again, you never know. But it is up to Emily, isn't it, not me. But no, I don't think so."
The doting dad of five confessed he has "no idea" what lies ahead given that his father is one of 12 siblings. He revealed: "Dad turns 91 this year and Mum's just turned 88. And this year will be their 69th wedding anniversary. I said to Dad, who is one of 12, 'I'm really keeping it going. We've got two boys, and two girls and I have no idea what's coming,'" reports the Mirror.
He further admitted after welcoming Emily's third child, she still doesn't have a name. He told OK!: "We’d like to thank everyone for their kind messages following the birth of our beautiful baby daughter! We’re all in a baby bubble just now and Emily and the baby are doing great. Everything feels perfect.
"We’ve been trying out names that our friends and family have suggested, but then Emily and I don’t seem to agree on them. So I think it’s only fair that Emily decides – I hope she picks a good one. It’s been great that the kids have been off school for the holidays so we can spend time together as a family.
"While we work a name out, we’re just trying to differentiate between day and night. The lack of sleep is real already!"
As Emily and Peter remain in the baby bubble, his children Princess and Junior jetted off to Australia to be with his mother Thea, who has been unwell. Praising the duo in an emotional post, he shared: "Junior and princess. The fact that you drove to Somerset to be with us hours before and the days that followed to see the arrival of your baby sister, AND THEN to get on a plane and travel 12,000 miles to be with your grandmother in a very difficult time for her shows me what beautiful children you are.
"I will never forget this moment. Thank you for being truly amazing. Love you all so much. Keep cuddling mum for me please and tell her I love her and we will come out soon ."
