Peter Andre’s wife Emily shares very rare picture of her three children on hectic school run
Emily Andre showed just how hectic the school run can be as she posted a photo on Instagram of husband Peter walking their two oldest children to school while pushing new baby Arabella in her pram.
While oldest daughter Amelia, 10, is wearing her own backpack and carrying a water bottle, dad Peter seems weighed down by two more backpacks while seven year old son Theo strides ahead.
Posted on Thursday 4 July, the day of the General Election, Emily added a comment about the busy school run.
“Multitasking today, voting on the school run! Made me think about how many years it is until our kids will be allowed to vote, and therefore how important it is that we represent them with our choices and try to make the country the best place it can be for them, now and in the future,” she wrote.
Her followers were quick to add their own comments about voting, with one writing: “I took my boys and talked them through it, my 8 year old was gutted not to be allowed to join in,” while another added: “Definitely the need to make the right choices for our children and grandchildrens future.”
Emily’s fans also commented on the photo of her cute family. “Just love this photo. At the weekend @peterandre is singing on stage to thousands of people and here he is doing the school run, like any other normal family,” wrote one. Another spotted poor Peter being overloaded, writing: “I think there needs to be a little bit more bag carrying delegation,” and a third agreed: “It did tickle me how Amelia is carrying her own school bag and Theo has got his dad to carry his!”
Emily, who works as an NHS doctor, and singer Peter welcomed youngest daughter Arabella three months ago and announced the happy news on social media.
Alongside photos of himself and Emily cuddling their baby girl after her birth, proud dad Peter said:: "Just minutes old……We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.”
Meanwhile Peter, who is currently on tour, last week showed fans the results of his gym workouts with a topless selfie. On Saturday 29 June, he shared the photo with the caption: “In the gym first thing this morning.”
The singer, who rose to fame with the song Mysterious Girl, was known for his muscle bound look in the 1990s but has previously spoken about suffering from body dysmorphia after headlines pointed out his insecurities.
He previously told OK!: "I was alone on a beach in the Bahamas, so I took my shirt off and went in the water. The sea was really rough and when I came out I remember I was gasping. There was some paparazzi photographer in the trees and he must have caught me breathing out.”
"The photo got sent all around the world and it was the first time people had seen me like that since the early days. I remember the headlines – ‘Andre piles on the pack’. People who were heavier than me might have thought, ‘But he looks alright’, but in my mind I looked like Brendan Fraser in The Whale. We never see what other people see."
"Now, I’ve got this psychological link to something and it’s stopping me just freely walking around the beach – I just won’t do it. It’s ridiculous."
