Peter Andre shares sweet baby name update in gushing post about wife Emily
Peter Andre has revealed his newborn daughter's adorable nickname.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, and his wife Emily, 34, have been struggling to agree on a name since the arrival of their third child earlier this month. However, he has now revealed the sweet nickname they have given their little girl.
In an adorable new video, the proud dad-of-five said that while he and Emily have yet to choose the 'real name' for their little one, they have given her the cute nickname 'Bubba' instead while Emily decides on the perfect moniker.
Alongside the video of Peter cuddling his bundle of joy, he wrote: "The love I have for our baby is one thing.
"The love I have for Emily is another love altogether. What an incredible mum she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us. We all love bubba so much. And she STILL has no name."
In the video the doting father is seen gently stroking the tot's face, as he tells fans: "Obviously it's always hard at the beginning, but she's such a good baby. She's just perfect. She's got all of Theo's features but with the dark colouring. I just love her."
Fans were quick to offer up name ideas to the couple, with many suggesting a female version of the name Peter. One wrote: "How about Bianca, Petra Emily Andre girl version of Peter, or Petunia Rose Andre." While another said: "What about Poppy? Poppy Andre? That would be so cute."
In his his exclusive column for OK! about life with his newborn daughter, Peter revealed that he and Emily have less than four weeks left to register their baby's moniker.
He teased that Emily is slowing down the process, telling us: "We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy. Any time Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside. Since Emily and I agreed for her to be the one to choose, it seems to have slowed down the process even more."
Peter added: "She is recovering after all, so I totally get it. We have less than four weeks left before we have to register her."
The new parents shared the first pictures of their bundle of joy with OK!, after welcoming their daughter on April 2, but revealed they hadn't picked a name for her just yet.
Alongside photos of himself and Emily cuddling their baby girl after her birth, proud dad Peter said: "Just minutes old……We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family. Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy.
"Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier."
