Peter Andre has admitted he is still in "pain” over the heartbreak of losing his big brother Andrew in his exclusive column. The singer sadly lost his sibling to kidney cancer in 2012 after a 10-month battle.

Speaking candidly to Abbey Clancy on her podcast Exhibit A, 51-year-old Peter said that even 12 years on from his brother's passing, grief is something he is still learning to cope with.

This week Peter also opened up on Zoe Ball leaving Radio 2, his upcoming plans for Christmas and his predictions for this year's I'm A Celeb...

A heart to heart

I was on Abbey Clancy’s podcast, Exhibit A, last week and it was great. If you haven’t heard it, check it out. Abbey is lovely – I’ve met her many times over the years, but this was the first time we really had the opportunity to chat properly.

We spoke about many things, including the loss of my brother, Andrew, and how we all cope differently with grief. It was difficult, as I haven’t talked about it in so long. I thought I was fine, but it reminded me how real the pain still is. All in all, a great podcast.

Movie magic

It looks like Wicked is the movie everyone is talking about – it’s everywhere – but Millie and Theo are excited about the release of Moana 2. They loved the first one and I’m a big fan of it, too. I mean, I don’t really have a choice as the little ones are obsessed with it, so it’s ingrained in me. Plus, Emily has plans for us all to visit Winter Wonderland and Lapland – it’s set to be a busy month! When I’m not filming, I’ll be joining in.

Celeb-tastic

I’ll be honest, I haven’t had a chance to watch any of I’m A Celebrity… yet, but everyone that I’ve spoken to says it is really good and that it opened with a bang. The trials sound difficult, too, so I reckon it could be the best series in years. I’m so happy to see Ant and Dec are still hosting – they’ve really built an incredible legacy for themselves. Plus, the show obviously has some great names in it, too, but it’s way too early to pick a winner. I know when I was in the jungle, anyone who was predicted to win at the start ended up not getting to the end. A lot can change in such a short time!

Goodbye, Zoe!

It was sad to hear about Zoe Ball leaving Radio 2 after so many years – she’s always been a fixture on air. But she’s got to do what she needs to do and what is best for her. I totally get it, she wants to focus on her family. Zoe has been on the radio for so long, she’s iconic and has her own stance in this country. I wish her all the best!

Christmas spirit

The Andre household is in the festive spirit already

The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on in our house. We’re all in the festive spirit and already putting decorations up, which is very early for us. I always say nothing before 1 December but it feels Christmassy already, so why not? We’re going to have a great family Christmas this year with all the kids – it’ll be Arabella’s first, too, which will be fantastic! – and my nephew from Australia will be visiting. He’ll be having his first ever UK Christmas. It’s going to be great.
