Peter Andre reveals new baby pic as he cradles newborn daughter
Peter Andre has shared a photo of his newborn baby daughter, just over a week after welcoming the little one into the world.
In the snap posted to his Instagram Story, the doting dad could be seen lovingly cradling his daughter as he sat on the sofa. As he cradled his daughter in his arms, Peter kept things casual as he sported a black tracksuit and black cap.
Gushing over his daughter, whom he shares with wife Emily MacDonagh, Peter simply wrote “pure love” alongside the snap.
The photo comes after the 51 year old singer shared the joyous news that he’d become a father for the fifth time after welcoming his daughter into the world on Tuesday, 2 April.
Exclusively sharing the happy news with OK!, the Mysterious Girl singer and his wife of nine years revealed that they’d welcomed a beautiful baby girl weighing 7lb 3oz. The new parents shared a series of pictures of their little one, though admitted that they haven't picked a name for her just yet.
Alongside photos of himself and Emily cuddling their baby girl after her birth, proud dad Peter wrote: “Just minutes old……We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.
“Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy. Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister.
“As parents, we couldn’t be happier. Only thing is…. She has no name yet. Help!"
He continued: “Thanks to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily’s parents, whom I adore. You have both been incredible.
“I’m so happy. Just off to hold her. Thanks everyone for reading.”
Since introducing his newest child to the world earlier this month, the singer has kept fans updated as he navigates becoming a dad-of-five and recently shared a snap of himself and Emily just moments before she gave birth to their newborn daughter.
Meanwhile, Peter has also shared his frustrations when it comes to finding the perfect name for his little one and has admitted that being unable to come up with a name has driven him “nuts”.
On Instagram, fans asked the doting dad if he and Emily had decided on a moniker for their daughter, to which he revealed that they haven't yet. “STILL no name. It's driving us nuts,” he wrote in response to one comment.
With another Instagram user asking the same question, Peter replied: “Still no name. Literally struggling. She doesn’t look like any one the names we have thought of.”
