Peter Andre explains heartwarming reason he missed Christmas outing with Emily and the kids
Peter Andre was left at home this Christmas Eve when his wife Emily MacDonagh took their kids for a festive trip to Lapland UK, but the Mysterious Girl singer had a good reason for not coming along. Taking to Instagram with a series of clips from his family's day out, Pete, 51, explained that he stayed home looking after their youngest daughter, Arabella, who they welcomed in April 2024.
Alongside Arabella, Pete and Emily share kids Theo, ten, and eight-year-old Amelia, while Pete is also dad to Princess, 17, and Junior, 19, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Pete shared a clip from Emily, Theo and Amelia's day out and wrote: "The kids filled me in on all the magic - elves, ice skating, and even their special visit with Santa. "I was on Belle duty, but honestly, it feels like I didn't miss a thing".
Similarly, Emily, 35, documented the day on her Instagram, writing: "The kids and I had the most magical day at @laplanduk .Every tiny detail was thought of. While Pete was on baby duty the kids and I had the best time exploring—and let’s just say, Pete’s had quite the download of all the magical stories since they got back. Definitely memories we will treasure forever".

Keen to protect her children's privacy, Emily doesn't show their faces on social media - and while she updates fans on their activities, she only films her children from the back or cuts out their faces.
Prior to their day out, Emily shared an update on baby Arabella - who they have sweetly nicknamed Belle - as the little one got her first tooth. She shared to Instagram: "So I am very, very excited because we've reached a bit of a milestone as Belle here has cut her first tooth.
"So today I'm going to clean her teeth for the first time. Now I wanted to do this and make a quick video about it to explain how important it is that you get babies cleaning their teeth from an early age. It's just really about getting them used to it, getting used to the feel of the toothbrush and the toothpaste, and it can prevent the cavities and problems with their teeth throughout the rest of their life."
Fans flooded the comments with supportive messages, with one writing: "Such great advice Emily its so important to look after their teeth early." Meanwhile, another said: "Awww Emily your such a lovely person and a fantastic Mommy."
