Like us, you've probably spent the last few hours losing it over the brand new trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of the hit novel Where The Crawdads Sing. The trailer which landed on 22nd March, has had everyone talking since its released and a lot of them are all saying the same thing.

The new trailer sees Daisy Edgar-Jones taking on the role of Kya, the outcasted young girl who had to fend for herself when her parents left. A love triangle begins to emerge when both Tate (Taylor John Smith) and Chase (Harris Dickinson) vie for her affection. But when one of them ends up dead, Kya faces a court case to try and prove her innocence.

Obviously, fans of the book will already know how incredible the story is. But in case you needed convincing, the trailer will definitely do the trick.

Well, since it landed Twitter has been quite literally alive with fans talking about the upcoming film, and a lot of them are saying exactly the same thing, specifically, that Daisy Edgar-Jones is going to be absolutely flawless in this film.

"Daisy Edgar-Jones in Where The Crawdads Sing omg she is about to be so so so excellent," one fan wrote. While another said, "Daisy Edgar-Jones is pretty spectacular!!! Now I’m even more hyped for Where The Crawdads Sing."

Meanwhile others wrote that she'll be "phenomenal" and that "she's finally getting the attention she deserves."

We cannot wait for this film!
