Awards season is in full swing, and with just a few weeks to go until the Oscars, arguably the biggest film awards of the year, it's been announced that none other than Hollywood star Brad Pitt's Champagne will be poured out as the official drink of the Oscars 2023.

Brad's brand, Fleur de Miraval, took over classic champers Piper-Heidsieck for the first time last year, and it was the first ever celebrity fizz to be served at the famous film event.

The rosé sparkler will be served during the ceremony, which is set to take place at Hollywood’s famous Dolby Theatre, as well as at the official afterparty, the Governors Ball, and other star-studded Oscar-adjacent events across LA, New York and London. How glam!

Fleur de Miraval fizz is a collab between Brad, who owns Château Miraval in Provence; and two winemaking families, one of which has farmed in Champagne for six generations.

The champers was first released in 2020, and Château Miraval is one of the only Champagne houses to focus exclusively on the pink stuff. The sparkling wine is made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, and has notes of wild strawberry and redcurrants as well as complex flavour and a little smokiness.

Fancy a bottle to try at home? Well, you'll need to part with some serious cash, as a bottle of Fleur de Miraval will set you back just over £300. That's around £50 a glass!
