Take a peek inside this beautifully renovated 18th-century barn in the Cotswolds, designed by artist and creative director Kelly Jackson.

The countryside property, which has a unique 'T-shape' floor plan, maintains many of its original features, such as a log burner and exposed curve stone walls, while incorporating contemporary features and accessories (our favourite being the limited edition David Shrigley prints).

Kelly created the barn's eclectic aesthetic through colour blocking, checkered monochrome patterns and plenty of geometric shapes.

What's more, the quirky barn has its very own slice of outdoor paradise that looks out onto endless countryside views of the charming village of Duns Tew. Plus, it's just eight minutes to Soho Farmhouse, too.

Upon entering the property through the French doors, you'll be greeted by a charming open-plan living and kitchen area. Flooded with colour and pattern, this bright and airy space sees striking colour contrasts of yellow and black throughout.

It's clear that Kelly is no stranger to textures, either. From the checkered shaggy rug in the kitchen to the fluffy cowhide cushions in the living area, the barn is brimming with bold materials.

Past the exposed Cotswold stone walls and wooden beams is the charming kitchen. Although a small space, it's packed full of features – our personal favourites being the matching mint green microwave, kettle and kitchen tiles.

If you're a fan of green, you'll love the guest bedroom. Soaked with natural light from the large skylight, various shades of this earthy hue are used throughout. From the punchy green checkered cushions to the lime marshmallow side tables, it's a refreshing delight.

Just a few steps away from the guest bedroom is the main shower room. With peachy-pink tiles and black accents (hello, rainfall shower), it has as an eclectic 70s feel. Small but sweet, it's sure to leave you feeling cheery.

Last but not least is the principal bedroom. Featuring a king-size bed, a dressing area with roomy built-in wardrobes, an ensuite and a desk area, this room is certainly not one to be sniffed at (especially when you spot the fabulous purple hippo lamp).

As well as the large skylight that provides ample light, a real gem is the exposed stone wall with a wooden window seat with views looking out onto the garden. Dreamy.

In the pretty south-east facing garden, there's an outdoor lounge set with a parasol, as well as a spacious dining table that seats up to eight people – perfect for families or large groups who love to dine alfresco.

Staying at this property was a real delight – we loved the attention to detail and the little touches (like the complimentary bubbly and the necklace from Kelly's handmade jewellery brand ONLYCHILD).
