Video transcript

GREG JAMES: A caller is on the line now. What is your question for Agony Ant-Man, please?

CALLER 4: Hi, yeah. Hiya, Paul. I'm a huge fan.

PAUL RUDD: Thank you.

CALLER 4: Hi. I just-- I wanted to pick your brains. So what would you do if you had a really, like a really good mate, you know, for over 20 years. And then this friend, yeah, he doesn't live in England, but he's come to England, and he hasn't told you about it. And then not only has he not told you about it, he's come on to a radio show. Well, what would you do?

PAUL RUDD: Oh my god.

CALLER 4: I know.

PAUL RUDD: Oh no.

CALLER 4: Would you be offended?

PAUL RUDD: Personally, if it's me, absolutely not. I tend to give everybody the benefit of the doubt.

CALLER 4: [LAUGHS] OK.

PAUL RUDD: Oh god. Oh god.

[LAUGHTER]

GREG JAMES: Caller number 4, reveal yourself, please.

OLIVIA COLMAN AS CALLER 4: Hi, Paul. It's Olivia Colman.

PAUL RUDD: I know.

GREG JAMES: It's Olivia Colman.

PAUL RUDD: God, that is such a good-- god, you really can do every accent.

GREG JAMES: Where did you first meet? How did this friendship happen because this is a glorious friendship--

PAUL RUDD: Oh, my gosh.

GREG JAMES: --I don't think many people know about.

PAUL RUDD: We go back. We really go back.

OLIVIA COLMAN: Yeah.

PAUL RUDD: I mean, over-- god, how many years ago?

OLIVIA COLMAN: Over 20 years. We were doing a play together, and Paul used to come and stay on the floor of our rubbish flat in the South London--

PAUL RUDD: Wow.

OLIVIA COLMAN: --and come for Sunday lunch and things. And we'd-- yeah, we had a lovely-- well, Paul was properly in the play, and I had about two lines, I think.

GREG JAMES: Do you want to tell everyone, Olivia, how this came about, please?

OLIVIA COLMAN: So I was listening to the breakfast show, as I always do, because I love you, Greg James.

GREG JAMES: Thank you.

OLIVIA COLMAN: And I heard that Paul Rudd was coming on to do Agony Ant-Man. And I went, what? And so I emailed Greg and said, would it be all right to do a prank on Paul?

PAUL RUDD: [SIGHS]

OLIVIA COLMAN: And he said, hell, yeah.
