Paris Hilton Finally Reveals Name Of Her New Baby Boy And Explains Its Special Meaning

Speaking on the latest episode of her This Is Paris podcast, the 42-year-old heiress confirmed that her new baby boy, who was born via surrogate according to People, is called Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum.
Reading an excerpt from her upcoming memoir during the podcast, Hilton also revealed the sweet story behind the name. 'If all goes well, by the time you read this, Carter and I will have a baby boy,' she said. 'We plan to name him Phoenix, a name I that decided on years ago when I was searching cities, countries and states on a map, looking for something to go with Paris and London.'
'Phoenix has a few good pop culture reference points, but more important it's the birth of flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again,' she continued. 'I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives and that this should give us great hope for the future.'
'His middle name is Barron after my grandfather Barron Hilton,' revealed Hilton. 'He was always my mentor and I looked up to my grandfather so much and we were so close and I miss him everyday so I really wanted to honour him by having his name in my first son's name.'
Hilton is expected to speak further about her experience and reveal further details in her memoir entitled Paris: The Memoir which will be published on March 14, 2023.

Paris Hilton has surprised fans by posting a photo to Instagram this morning suggesting she has welcomed her first child.
The businesswoman and media personality teased the news with a post featuring a close-up photo of what looks like her manicured hand holding the hand of a baby, with the caption 'You are already loved beyond words 💙'.
Recent photos of the star do not appear to show her pregnant, hence it seems that her and husband Carter Reum turned to a surrogate to start their family – while the blue heart in the caption suggested the new arrival is a boy.
Speaking exclusively with People following her Instagram post, the 41-year-old heiress confirmed the news, saying: 'It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.'
Celebrity friends also seemed to confirm the news as they took to the comments section to offer their congratulations to the new mother. Kim Kardashian commented 'So happy for you guys!!! 🤍', while the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell and Ashley Benson also left their own well-wishes beneath the photo.
Hilton has been open about her desire to start a family in the past, saying during her iHeartRadio podcast, This Is Paris, back in February 2021 that se couldn't wait to start a family with husband Reum. 'It's something we've talked a lot about ever since we've been together,' she said. 'First the wedding, then the babies.' The couple married in November 2021 in a lavish Bel-Air ceremony.
Hilton has also spoken about undergoing IVF treatment, revealing during an episode of The Trend Reporter With Mara podcast in 2021 that it was 'the only way' and that close friend Kim Kardashian had introduced her to her fertility doctor.
