Is there any more iconic beauty idol in Hollywood history than Marilyn Monroe? The classic 1950s movie star is still renowned today for her trademark white dress, platinum curls and red-painted smile.

Fast forward to this weekend, and modern beauty icon Pamela Anderson stepped out on the red carpet in a look seriously reminiscent of the original star of the silver screen.

Wearing a floor length white gown with her blonde locks set into soft vintage waves, we couldn't help but see the resemblance between Pamela and Marilyn's iconic style.

However, Pamela brought Marilyn's classic look firmly into the 21st century with a modern cut to her own draped, asymmetric dress, and by pairing down the makeup - mostly notably forgoing Marilyn's trademark red lip.

The former Baywatch legend is now well known for her fresh-faced approach to glam, since arriving at Paris Fashion Week without any makeup in 2023. Since then, she has continued to favour a more natural look and we love how beautifully it worked with her Marilyn aesthetic at the this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (23 February).

Pamela was honoured with the task of presenting the gong for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role at the 31st annual SAG awards, and took to the stage at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall to announce the winner.

The 2025 prize went to Kieran Culkin for his part in the film A Real Pain, a film which has been heavily lauded this awards season.
