STORY: Malaysia said on Friday it will resume the search for the wreckage of flight MH370 - more than 10 years after it disappeared. :: 2015The flight, carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew vanished en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in March 2014. It’s become one of the greatest aviation mysteries.The fresh hunt was proposed by exploration firm Ocean Infinity, six years on from their last attempt. Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the new agreement is expected to be finalized in early 2025. “The Cabinet has agreed in principle to accept the proposal from Ocean Infinity United Kingdom to proceed with seabed search operations to locate the wreckage of flight MH370, in a new area estimated at 15,000 square kilometres in the southern Indian Ocean.
