If you had to list off all the Oreo flavors in existence, you’d start with the O.G. chocolate wafer cookies (naturally), then probably follow up with Mint and Golden Oreos. If you’re keeping up with the latest Oreo news, you might even mention Churro, Mint Chip, or the special edition Star Wars cookies. And if you’re a real mega fan, you might recall Red Velvet. But, from there, you’d probably run dry.

We can’t blame you. Oreo rotates through so many new and returning flavors in one calendar year, it can be hard to keep up. And, sometimes that means some of the mainstay flavors fall by the wayside.

But now, thanks to a limited-time IHOP collab, it’s time for one of those under-the-radar flavor to get the spotlight. Yep, IHOP is about to serve up a fresh new flavor of Oreo pancakes featuring a cookie nobody saw coming.

New Oreo Lemon Pancakes Will Be Available at IHOP

You might’ve had Oreo pancakes before, but we guarantee you’ve never had them like this.

In honor of the last official month of summer, IHOP is launching an Oreo pancake stack starring the sunniest cookie flavor: lemon. Starting today, Lemon Oreo pancakes will be available on a limited-edition menu, providing the “perfect refreshing summer treat” to start your morning with, according to an email announcement.

If you’ve been sleeping on the Lemon Oreo, just wait until you see how it can shine on the breakfast table. The sweet new stack features four buttermilk pancakes filled and topped with Lemon Oreo cookie pieces, a creamy cheesecake mousse, and a whipped topping. The flavor is available in a short stack and a tall stack.

And the pancake chain didn’t stop there. To fully incorporate the lemon cookie into the August menu, the brand is also debuting a Lemon Oreo milkshake. The cool, creamy treat blends Lemon Oreo pieces with premium vanilla ice cream and is topped with whipped cream and even more Lemon Oreo pieces.

Fans are already showing love for the limited-time items, excited that the Lemon Oreo is finally getting some justice. "I’ve been making lemon Oreo milkshakes at home for years they’re insanely good," said one fan. "I’ll take two," joked another.

Whether you've been a longtime fan of the Lemon Oreo or you're rediscovering the familiar flavor, we think it's safe to say there's no cookie better suited for IHOP's end-of-summer menu. So, stop by the house of pancakes before August 31 if you want to try out the seasonal treats.
