We don’t know about you, but breakfast is one of those meals that can put us in a recipe rut really quickly. Breakfast time is usually when we’re looking for something quick and easy to make that still tastes good. That doesn’t seem like too much to ask for and yet, some mornings, that bowl of cereal or avocado toast just doesn’t seem to cut it.

In those moments, we turn to our favorite celebrities and celebrity chefs for inspiration. Thank goodness for social media or else we’d never know what Stanley Tucci, Jennifer Garner, Cher, and Oprah Winfrey are eating in their spare time.

And what we’ve learned from social media is that no matter if you’re a Michelin Star chef, Grammy Award-winner, or beloved actor, you never grow out of scrambled eggs.

The few-ingredient breakfast is likely one of the first things you learned how to make—maybe even in the microwave. And, as you’ve grown as a home chef, your scrambled egg game likely has, too.

Nowadays, maybe you add veggies or cottage cheese for some extra protein or spice up the flavor with pesto or chili crisp. You’re not the only one: our favorite celebs don’t settle for boring scrambled eggs either.

Oprah shared her four-ingredient recipe for scrambled eggs that’s anything but flavorless just to prove it.

Oprah's 4-Ingredient Scrambled Eggs Recipe

In an Instagram video, the beloved talk show host walked us through her breakfast after a hike. It started with “lightly” scrambled eggs, followed by her “secret” ingredients.

We’d assume the light scramble is Oprah’s trick for fluffy eggs. In the video, she continuously stirs the eggs, then seems to take them off the stove just before they’re done—similar to Bobby Flay’s method. Then, she adds her additional ingredients.

“You know what’s the secret, I’ve got a little jalapeño in here, a little scallion in here, and truffle cheese,” Oprah says.

She mixes the ingredients into the scrambled eggs while they’re cooking, then plates them and tops them with additional cheese and truffle. Oprah adds the cheese and truffle separately, but since most of us probably don’t have whole truffles lying around, an extra handful of your truffle cheese will work just fine.

With those three additional ingredients, Oprah’s eggs will have a nice cheesy consistency, plus deep flavor from the truffle and scallions, and a bit of a kick from the jalapeño.

The only question we have is: Has someone introduced Oprah to the jalapeño dust hack yet? Because that frozen, grated jalapeño on these eggs would definitely take them to the next level.
