The One Show star Alex Jones has shared an update on her big life change, confirming she has now completed the process of moving home.

The presenter previously posted about her family's big overhaul earlier this month – even asking fans for packing tips.

Alex has now revealed that they have moved in, sharing an emotional post that includes a picture of herself and her husband Charlie sharing a kiss and champagne.

"We made it and are completely delighted with the new house," the star wrote. "Thank you so much for all your messages of support over the last few weeks. We are obviously living in complete chaos but it already feels like home."

Alex went on to admit it was a "big decision" to leave their home in West London after 14 "happy" years, though they "wanted the children to have space to play outside and to grow up in nature".

"It took nearly 4 years of searching to find the 'one'," she continued. "Somewhere where the children could appreciate nature but yet be close enough to London for me to get to work and we have. It feels like she was waiting for us to find her. We feel very lucky."

The star has since received a host of supportive messages, with fellow One Show presenter Lauren Laverne writing: "Lovely! Wishing you so many happy times there."

Musician Izzy Judd said: "Congratulations lovely, so happy for you guys. We will miss seeing you around," while Strictly Come Dancing's Alex Scott added: "Yessssss…. So happy for you Al."

Speaking earlier this month about the moving process, Alex admitted that it felt "cleansing" and "quite emotional".

She also shared some of her precious belongings, including her children's memory boxes and art projects, as well as a hospital tag from when her daughter was born.

The One Show airs on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
