Olly Murs' wife shares adorable snaps of couple cuddling baby Madison
Amelia Murs, the wife of former X Factor runner-up Olly Murs, has shared some adorable photos of their newborn daughter Madison.
On Wednesday, 17 April, Olly and Amelia shared the news of their little one's arrival into the world on Instagram, with a sweet snap of them exiting the hospital with their daughter in a car seat. In the caption, Olly announced that they had named their first child Madison, writing: "Our mini murs has arrived. Madison we love you so much already x."
Now, new mum Amelia has shared some Polaroid photos of herself and Olly cuddling their newborn. Captioning this, she shared a string of emojis before reposting it on her Instagram Stories. where she wrote: "My world".
Fans have been quick to comment on the adorable photos, with one writing: "Wonderful photos, thank you for sharing special moments with us. Enjoy all that's ahead xx"
"Beautiful precious, moment a lovely family" added another. While a third penned: "Can you two please stop being so cute. Adorable little family Cherish every moment as they grow up so fast (I know too well) love to little Madi and you two too, Mummy and Daddy xx"
Olly, 39, who was a judge on The Voice up until last year, married bodybuilder Amelia, 31, in a three-day private island extravaganza in July 2023, after being in a relationship for four years.
Sharing snaps to social media throughout the pregnancy, Olly and Amelia have been keeping fans up to date as they neared the latter's due date – often showing off her blossoming bump. They even hosted a Greggs-themed baby shower last month, joining forces with the bakery chain for the hilarious event.
Since then Olly has revealed his heartache amidst the baby bliss as he had to leave the precious little one behind to head to work. Just hours after the announcement, Olly revealed that it was still business as usual for his life as a pop star, as he confirmed he would still be supporting Take That at their Leeds show later that evening.
Taking to Instagram to share the announcement with fans, Olly first began by thanking everyone for their messages of congratulations, as he said: “I just wanted to jump on here and say thank you so much for the lovely messages. It’s been an incredible few days and little Madison is here and we’re just over the moon and full of love.”
He then went on to say: ”I just wanted to jump on here to let everyone know that is coming to the Leeds show tonight for the Take That show - I am here! Yes I am here, and it was so horrible to say goodbye to Madison this morning and Amelia - but the show must go on.”
He then concluded the post with another flurry of thanks, before admitting outright that he could hardly believe that he was now a parent. Olly added: “I am here and just wanted to send all my love to you guys and thank you for your support and love. I really appreciate it. I can’t believe I’m a dad!”
