Olivia Wilde's head-to-toe-black gym wear look is a classic for a reason
As much as we love to see a fabulously OTT red carpet fashion moment – and there have been a lot of those lately thanks to the 2024 edition of Awards season – we must admit that there's something particularly fascinating about seeing what celebrities choose for for their most low-key, off-duty looks too. We're talking everything from the bikinis they wear on holiday and joggers they save for lounging at home, all the way through to the outfits they put together for a dog walk or a hike.
And, of course, being Women's Health, we have a particular penchant for seeing what celebs are rocking when they go to the gym above all... Brie Larson, for example, displayed a love of throwback Jane Fonda vibes when she showed off her '80s inspired workout ensemble last week, while we know that Davina McCall favours a bright matching leggings and sports bra set.
Olivia Wilde, however, has taken a break from her recent gym wear fashion marathon, and swapped her usual colourful co-ord sets for something rather more discreet. Here she is in her latest fitness ensemble outside her gym in LA just yesterday:
Trends are all well and good – and there's nothing quite like a snazzy legging to help get you motivated – but Olivia's look is a reminder that head-to-toe black is a chic classic for a reason. The actor was spotted in a timeless combination of high-waisted leggings, matching sports bra, a cropped hoodie, chunky HOKA trainers and a pair of iconic Ray-Ban Wayfarers to ward off the paps.
In fact, the only hint of colour in Olivia's entire look came courtesy of her light blue water bottle – that might look like a cult Stanley cup from afar, but on closer inspection is actually just a very good dupe by Hydro Flask.
