Oliver Hudson and Robyn Lively Admit They Envy Siblings Kate Hudson and Blake Lively: 'I Wanna Do a Role Like That'
Kate's older brother said he sometimes thinks, "I wanna work with people like that"
Oliver Hudson and Robyn Lively have a thing or two in common, considering their famous siblings are Kate Hudson and Blake Lively!
In the latest episode of Kate, 44, and Oliver's iHeartRadio podcast Sibling Rivalry, released on Sunday, April 7, The Cleaning Lady alum was joined by Robyn, 52, while his sister was away working on a project. The episode, titled “A Lively Conversation,” saw the pair discussing “what it's really like to have mega famous siblings.”
During their conversation, Oliver, 47, admitted that while he’s “happy” for his siblings (notably Kate and Wyatt Russell), he does wish he could see the same level of success.

“There’s always a part of me that’s just like, ‘F--- , man. Why can’t I do that? I wanna do a role like that. I wanna work with people like that. I wanna make that kinda money,’” he said.
Oliver added that he doesn’t want to feel like he’s always “hustling.”
However, the Grown Ups 2 talent made it clear that his feelings about his own career desires would never take away from the pride he feels with seeing his brother and sister accomplish their goals.
“But f--- , I’m not afraid to admit that I have envy,” he continued. “It’s there.”

“I totally understand that, for sure,” Robyn replied.
The Teen Witch alum took a different approach, noting that Blake, 36, puts in a lot of effort to reach her goals.
“But that hustle is real. My sister’s life — it’s a lot. It’s a lot of work to maintain that,” Robyn said of her younger sibling.
She also said that witnessing the Gossip Girl actress’ rise has been the “most unexpected” because of how reserved she was in her younger days.
“She was very shy. And so it just happened… and I can not believe it,” Robyn said of Blake with a laugh.

“But she and I are like — she’s my best friend. We are so close.”
Oliver confessed that while he would happily “take” Kate’s money that he doesn’t necessarily want “that kind of fame.”
According to the Rules of Engagement actor, that would be too “gnarly” and “intrusive.”
In January 2022, the Hudson siblings stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where they admitted to not keeping up with all of each other’s projects.
At the time, Oliver was starring on Fox's The Cleaning Lady as FBI agent Garrett Miller.
“I've watched an episode so far. I watched the first. It's very good,” Kate said.
When discussing the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days talent’s work, he joked, "You've seen one movie of hers, you've seen 'em all."
