Oligarch splashes out £7.8m on daughter’s lavish wedding
The daughter of a Russian oligarch enjoyed one of the most lavish weddings ever after her father splashed out a staggering £7.8 MILLION on the big day.
While most people settle for a dodgy wedding singer provided by the venue, the entertainment at Lolita Osmanov’s wedding was provided by none other than Lady Gaga.
Flowers for the ceremony alone are reported to have cost more than most people’s entire wedding days, with an eye-watering bill of more than £192,000.
If that wasn’t enough, Lolita tied the knot with Gaspar Avdolyan at the famous Dolby Theater in LA, California – the venue used for the OSCARS.
Lucky bride Lolita is the daughter of Eldar Osmanov, owner of the energy sales holding Mezhregionsoyenergo, who forked out for the extravaganza.
Her new hubby Gaspar is the son of Albert Avdolyan, 46, one of the key players in the Russian telecommunications business.

Guests were showered with lavish presents before the day had even begun, with special waiters delivering them in briefcases made to look like the ones that are used to transport Oscar statues the night before.
Inside were casino chips to use on the big day, a screen which had a personal message from the bride and groom thanking them for attending, a pen and a golden inscribed CD with the names of the couple on them.
The evening was hosted by the woman said to be Russian president Vladimir Putin’s goddaughter, journalist and TV personality Ksenia Sobchak, 33, and TV presenter Andrey Malakhov, 45, both of whom were flown over to LA on a private jet.
Superstar Lady Gaga is believed to have been paid £1.6m for her performance.
Not everyone was impressed with the big bash, especially by those living in Russia.
Commenting on the wedding, one said: “Why not (have this) in Russia?
“People are barely making ends meet here and try to help those in need, and these two are having it all in LA.”
