You can now order a Colin the Caterpillar birthday hamper from M&S
Marks and Spencer Food has announced a range of cake hampers that can be ordered online, so that we can still celebrate our birthdays in style during lockdown. It's great news for fans of Colin the Caterpillar, famous for his appearances at childhood birthdays and office celebrations, as you can get the classic cake delivered straight to your door.
Costing £20, the Colin the Caterpillar package includes a Colin cake, veggie Colin the Caterpillar sweets, a foil balloon and a M&S bag.
If you don’t fancy Colin, though, M&S has two other package options that you can choose from.
If you're a self-confessed chocoholic, then there's the Chocolate Happy Birthday Cake package, costing £10. This gooey chocolate fudge cake, covered in milk and white chocolate shavings, is perfect for those with a serious sweet tooth. It also comes with colourful spotty candles and you’re even able to get ‘Happy Birthday’ iced on the top for that extra personal touch.
For those who’d prefer something a bit more colourful, there’s the Happy Birthday Rainbow Cake for £30. This beautiful buttercream cake is decorated with hundreds and thousands, and is accompanied by a delicious bottle of Casa di Amello Rosé Spumante so you can really get the party started.
Delivery slots are limited so M&S is advising to place orders with plenty of time in advance, and to regularly check back as new slots are being added.
