Normani returns to save pop music in a red backless thong jumpsuit, of course

If you've been keeping an eye on Normani's Instagram page (just us?) you may have noticed the artist recently deleted all her posts. A classic pop star move that is almost inevitably followed by the announcement of new music, just ask Dua Lipa who employed the same move not too long ago.

Well, that's exactly what happened. Normani posted three times teasing her new album, Dopamine. While she withheld the release date, she made up for it by sharing the album artwork that sees her straddling a black rocket clad in a black latex cut-out bikini complete with gold chain straps, naturally.

Yep, we'd expect nothing less from Normani who has become known for her daring fashion sense. So it only makes sense the first post she shares since that big announcement is a carousel of naked looks. We're talking underboob-baring cut-outs, thong-flashing backless designs and no trousers.

All pretty standard looks for our fave celebs in 2024. But it's the second look in particular from the photoshoot for Who What Wear that really caught our attention.

Wearing a Theophilio red jumpsuit with a knit overlay, the high-neck design was totally backless plunging waaay past Normani's bum to show off the one-piece's matching G-string. Talk about next-level naked dressing with the Y2K exposed thong trend *and* the biggest back cut-out we've ever seen. Red Saule stud earrings were her only accessories.

Alongside her famous friends comments – fashion designer Hayden Williams wrote, "She’s not playing around!!!! 👏🏾" with Shay Mitchell leaving a string of fire emojis – fans rushed to the comments section of the publication's post, writing:

Yep, we couldn't agree more. Welcome back, Normani!
