Nobu Has Launched Sales for Its Branded Beachfront Residences in Abu Dhabi
Nobu Hospitality is expanding its empire in the Middle East, and the world-renowned hotel and restaurant brand just launched sales of its first residences in Abu Dhabi.
Spearheaded by Aldar Properties, the UAE’s leading real estate developer, the branded tower on the coveted Saadiyat Island is slated for completion in 2027. When the 12-acre spread is finished, the beachfront property will include a 125-key hotel, 88 private residences, a rooftop bar, and, of course, a Nobu restaurant. Buyers will have a choice between one- to three-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom loft-style units, and a limited number of ultra-swanky sky villas and palatial penthouses. Prices for the homes start at AED 7 million (or roughly $1.9 million).

“We are extremely excited to launch the sale of our exclusive Nobu Residences Abu Dhabi,” Jonathan Emery, CEO of Aldar Development, said in a press statement. “We anticipate strong demand from both local and international buyers due to the luxurious nature of the development and its location in one of the most sought-after destinations in the UAE.”
The units themselves will be designed by Dubai-based firm RSP Architects, with the help of California’s Studio PCH. Naturally, you can expect the homes to maintain the Nobu brand’s sleek, minimalist look and feel. The gourmet kitchens have been personally curated by Chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa, and the spa-like bathrooms fuse Arabian and Japanese aesthetics. Other perks include epic views of the Arabian Gulf and the Guggenheim museum in Abu Dhabi, which was designed by architect Frank Gehry and is expected to open its doors in 2025.
Residents will also have access to a ton of wellness-focused amenities, such as a state-of-the-art fitness center with a steam room and sauna, a spa area with multiple treatment rooms, a large swimming pool, and an indoor Zen garden for yoga. Other additions to the property include a movie theater, a resident’s lounge, and communal gardens. Hungry residents are welcome to saunter over to the on-site Nobu restaurant or, if they prefer to stay at home, they can have an order of black cod with miso and hamachi-jalapeño sashimi sent up to their apartment.
“The Nobu Residences Abu Dhabi will embody the pinnacle of a new era in luxurious lifestyle living,” added Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality. “As we embark on this remarkable journey, introducing these residences to Abu Dhabi, we are not merely constructing homes; we are crafting a lifestyle masterpiece, the Nobu way.”
