The SS18 Fashion Week season is now onto its final stop in Paris. Having already seen what New York, Milan and London have to offer, we are starting to see a few trends appear; some more shocking than others.

Lingerie designer Etam caused quite a stir earlier this week when they showcased their new risqué collection, which served up some teeny tiny outfits. However, the boutique de lingerie then went one step further, going from barely-there to totally topless, as models took to the catwalk donning nipple pasties.

The burlesque item, which originated in the 1920s, may have turned a few heads, but Etam’s free the nipple look is in fact a lot more demure than what we’ve been seeing on other catwalks this season.

At London Fashion Week, several designers including Burberry, Halpern and Armani showed some serious skin, as sheer garments – from see-through tops to dresses – were a huge hit.
