If there’s one brand worth watching in the build-up to Black Friday 2024, it’s Nike. The Swoosh has come up trumps over the past few years, offering huge discounts on its best-selling running shoes and apparel over Black Friday weekend. Last year, that included 25% off almost everything on the site – including sale items. We saw pairs of the Nike Pegasus flying off the online shelves for as low as £62, while you could nab a whopping £70 off the top-end Alphafly. Talk about mega savings.
With Black Friday officially taking place at the end of the month, all eyes are on when Nike will commence its inaugural Black Friday sale. The brand doesn’t offer discounts often – especially on its top running shoes – so Cyber Weekend is a unique opportunity to make a saving. Here's what you need to know.
When is Nike's Black Friday Sale in 2024?
This year, Black Friday takes place on Friday 29 November, with Cyber Monday landing on Monday 2 December.
Last year, though, Nike launched its Black Friday sale a full eight days before the main event, giving us even more time to pick up discounted running shoes and gear. The sale ran throughout the weekend, ending just before midnight on Cyber Monday.
The retailer has remained pretty tight lipped about its 2024 Black Friday plans, but the fact that it's already launched its Black Friday 2024 sales page gives us pretty good indication that something is brewing at Nike HQ. As soon as we get confirmation, we'll update this page with more information.
How to become a Nike member
You usually need to be a member to take advantage of Nike's Black Friday deals. If you're not yet a Nike member, we recommend signing up here. It's completely free and only takes a couple of minutes. What is the Nike Black Friday discount code?
For 2023, Nike's Black Friday promo code was SPRINT23. All you needed to do was add it to your basket at the checkout and you'd see the contents of your basket drop. There was a minimum spend limit of £50, but that was easy peasy to hit if you were bagging a pair of Nike running shoes.
