Nightmare Neighbours? Now You Can Snitch On Them With This App

No one likes a snitch. Or, more accurately, no one likes to be called out for being a total pain in the arse.

Parties are great but they become significantly less fun when you’re not actually invited but can still hear every drumbeat through your pathetic, flimsy walls.

But now there’s no need to either psych yourself up to knock on your neighbours’ door or just seethe in silence. The wonders of technology have made ratting people out just that bit easier.

The Noise App allows you to create your own ‘noise diary’ to prove what’s happening on your street.

You can record 30 second clips of sound and the time and GPS location of the recordings will be saved.

If your local authority uses the app you can send your evidence to them directly and the app is free to use. But even if they don’t subscribe you can still create up to ten reports for £2.99.

“Traditionally you’d ring up your local authority or housing association and they’d send you a physical noise diary sheet which can take two weeks to receive,” Michael Fennessy from RHE who manage the app told the Metro.

“Then it can take over a month before they review your case and decide whether the believe it. With this app you can build up a case in two or three days.”
