Its cozy boots are primed to sell out.
There is, perhaps, no other footwear brand quite as polarizing as Ugg. But even a mile- long list of detractors couldn’t hold up to its loyal fan base, which consists of supermodels and A-list street style stars like Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, and Selena Gomez. Surely they, and other celebrities like Cameron Diaz and Katie Holmes, have helped contribute to the brand’s meteoric rise to fame in recent years, and we are here for it.
We get the appeal: Uggs are cozy, versatile, and practical. You could just as easily style Ugg outfits for an errands run (like Chloë Sevigny opted to do) as you could to shoot a film (we see you Nicole Kidman) or, more relatably, a night out with friends. Better still—you’ve got options. The brand continuously iterates on classics with variations of slippers, short boots, tall boots, clogs, and even sneakers. TL;DR: Uggs are here to stay, so it’s time to get on board the trend by shopping for this season’s hottest styles before they sell out.

Ugg Classic Short II Boot
When I hear the name Ugg, this is the one pair that comes to mind. It’s the first pair I ever bought, and a key part of my high school uniform in the early aughts. But unlike the pair I wore in ‘09, the updated version is pretreated to protect against moisture and stains and thankfully, is just as cozy as you’d expect thanks to its luxurious sheepskin interior and plush footbed.
Ugg Classic Mini II Boot
This boot is a scaled-down version of the Classic Short II, but it boasts no shortage of things to love. Its fun-sized silhouette at 5-inches” has gone viral in recent years, and is consistently among the first to sell out. It hits right above the ankle, and is a perfect pairing to leggings, oversized jeans, and even cargo pants (as styled by Kendall Jenner). Prefer a boot that hits below the ankle? The Ultra Mini style is even shorter with a 3.5-inch" shaft height. Like I said, you’ve got options.
Ugg Classic Mini Platform
Since its arrival in 2020, demand for these platform Uggs has soared, thanks in part to people like Bella Hadid and Keke Palmer who style them so effortlessly, making it nearly impossible to resist a pair for yourself. What sets this pair apart from its siblings is its 2-inch platform outsole to give a little boost to your height and elongate your legs.
Ugg Classic Tall II Boot
When the temperatures start to dip below freezing, you’ll be happy to have a pair of these tall boots on hand. The heightened silhouette—11.75 inches”, to be exact—offers more leg coverage to keep you warmer. For a more playful, feminine look, consider the Bailey Bow Tall II Boot, which looks similar to the classic version but with the addition of three silky bows along the back.
