70s Waves

This look is ideal for the first day when your hair is clean and spirits are high! Try a natural looking 70s inspired soft wave, lightly spray your hair with salt spray (try VO5 Give Me Texture £3.99) and curl a few sections with a large barreled curling wand and top with a floral crown.

To compliment the boho waves, add some cat flick eyeliner and a small dot underneath to give it a Woodstock vintage twist. Keep the base natural but give the skin a healthy glow by adding pink blush, a hint of bronzer and plenty of highlight (try The Balm Luminizer £17.50) . Swipe the lips with a touch of moisturizing gloss and you’re good to go.

Spruce up that second day hair with a quick spray of the festival favorite Baptiste Dry Shampoo (£2.99). Disguise any remaining grime by popping on a glamorous hair crown and add some boho plaits to small sections to give it some festival edge.

To hide any eye dark circles from the excessive partying the day before, go for a sultry smokey bronzed eye. Try the Rimmel London Scandal eyes shadow stick in Bad Bronze (£4.49) and add some dots underneath to up the fun.

The Messy Up-Do

Got last day greasy locks that dry shampoo just wont banish? Have no fear, the headband is here!

Grab yourself a funky patterned headband like this one from Primark, brush your hair and then roll into into the band. It’s super quick and easy to do and perfect for keeping your hair off your face whilst you bust some dance moves.

For the makeup it’s time to go all out with the crazy colours, because if you can’t do it at a festival then when can you? Again keep the base simple and have the focus all on the eyes, try Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeshadow in Blamed Blue (£4.49) across the lid for a pop of colour and fun.

Festival Essentials

Hold up! Before you head out that door with your new look, make sure you’ve packed these tried and tested festival essentials, from wet wipes to an illuminating moisturiser (perfect for faking a fresh glow). These festival must haves will keep you going all weekend long.
