Netflix users - have you ever wondered what the first thing you ever watched on the streaming platform was? Or just how many times you have actually watched your favourite TV show over again?

Well you can now find out thanks to one popular content creator who has revealed how to access your entire Netflix viewing history - all you need is a desktop.

TikTok user @TheBaldestBitch provided his 150k followers with a step by step tutorial on how to "find the first thing you ever watched on Netflix" by simply clicking a few options in your account settings.

A backdated viewing history will then appear in the form of a long list detailed with everything you ever watched with the exact date alongside it.

The TikToker told viewers he had joined Netflix ten years ago so his list had been rather long, but he reassured his followers to "keep scrolling" as he had still easily got to the bottom of it.

Fellow social media users rushed to the comments to have their say on the clever hack.

One excited user wrote: "Oh. Netflix has a record of how many times I watched heartstopper and how many times I watched the carriage scene in Bridgeton? Cool. Cool, cool. cool."

Someone else chimed in: "It'll take me years, I've re-watched Gilmore Girls so many times." A third joked: "Keep scrolling? I'd be there three days just scrolling."

A fourth commented: "Does it include when Netflix posted DVDs to your house? yes I'm that old."

Netflix is coming up for its 12 year anniversary in the UK on January 9, after being established way back in 2012. However, it first started out as a mail-based rental service in 1997, where it delivered DVDs to subscribers and launched its website, NetFlix.com, in 1998.

It later became a streaming platform in the US in 2007 and now has 283 million paid memberships in over 190 countries around the world.
