Netflix Celebrity Bear Hunt: What is it, when does it air, line-up and hosts
A brand new survival challenge series is set to air on Netflix. Celebrity Bear Hunt, which is hosted by presenter Holly Willoughby and survival expert Bear Grylls, welcome 12 celebrities to the Costa Rican rainforest.

Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas has described the experience as "one of the scariest things [she's] ever done", while Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has spoken about coming "face-to-face with mortality" while on the show. What is Celebrity Bear Hunt about?
Netflix's Celebrity Bear Hunt will see 12 famous faces take on the Costa Rican rainforest in Central America. The celebrities include sports stars, presenters, singers, actors and other TV personalities.
The 12 celebrities will be dropped into the middle of the jungle, where they will have to learn how to depend on themselves and how to adapt to their natural surroundings. But it doesn't just stop there, as the biggest test won't be the day-to-day life of the rainforest, but impressing the survival expert Bear Grylls.
If they fail to impress the legendary Bear Grylls, they will have to face the most "primal survival test of them all", according to the show's synopsis, and that is being hunted down by Bear Grylls in "nature's deadliest escape room" - The Bear Pit. Anyone that will be caught by Bear in the pit will face elimination.
According to the Mirror, the show's creative director Ben Mitchell said: "The Bear Pit is something to be feared, the sheer heat makes it hard enough, but it's also brutal terrain - untamed jungle in a naturally constrained area. "It has a crocodile in it (which we've nicknamed Julie), snakes, spiders, monkeys, scorpions.
"We haven't put them in there, this is their home. It is genuinely terrifying. Being pursued is frightening enough, but doing it when you know there are deadly critters, in extreme heat, when you also have to strategize and problem-solve, takes it to another level."
Speaking to Radio Times ahead of its airing, TV personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen said that he came "face-to-face with mortality" during the show, while Shirley Ballas described the experience as "one of the scariest things I've ever done" on her social media.
When does it air?
Celebrity Bear Hunt will be available for streaming on Netflix from February 5, with a total of eight episodes in the series.

Zuhair Hassan (AKA Big Zuu) - Aged 29. TV chef and rapper known for Big Zuu's Big Eats.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen - Aged 59. TV interior designer, known for Changing Rooms.

Who hosts Celebrity Bear Hunt?
ITV presenter Holly Willoughby will make her Netflix debut as the host of Celebrity Bear Hunt. Fans of Dancing on Ice need not worry that the presenter's new role will detract from her usual duties as she will continue to feature in the upcoming series of the ice-skating competition show.
The presenter will be joined by Bear Grylls during the show. The 50-year-old British adventure and former SAS trooper has had numerous adventure shows over the years, including Man vs. Wild which was aired between 2006 and 2011, NBC's Running Wild with Bear Grylls and Channel 4's The Island with Bear Grylls.
Celebrity Bear Hunt will be available for streaming on Netflix from February 5.
