In-N-Out has been a West Coast staple for 75 years. And part of what’s made it such a beloved institution is its menu. Unlike some of our other favorite burger chains, In-N-Out’s menu is kept very simple—with a few not-quite-secret burger options available (hello, Animal Style).

And while we love that limited menu, it makes it all the more exciting to hear that new items are getting added to it. On Dec. 18, the chain announced the addition of two new beverages to In-N-Out menus.

Now you can get Cherry Coke and Lite Pink Lemonade alongside your Double-Double. The Lite Pink Lemonade is replacing the Minute Maid Zero Sugar lemonade formerly available at the chain. Like that previous option, the chain has confirmed that the Lite Pink Lemonade contains zero sugar. A Reddit thread indicates that it’s sweetened with stevia leaves and monk fruit.

While these menu changes are small, fans are majorly excited. On the Instagram post, commenters said, “Cherry coke is a legendary choice,” and, “Been wanting you to add 🍒 Coke forever! So glad you have it now!!!” Some are just as excited for the new lemonade option, saying, “LITE PINK LEMONADE YES !!!! BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR YEARS 🙌.”

These options join a beverage lineup that also includes Coke, Diet Coke, 7Up, Dr. Pepper, root beer, Signature Pink Lemonade, iced tea, milk, coffee, and hot cocoa. The two new beverage options are reportedly the first “new” items since 2018, when hot cocoa returned to the menu after about 40 years off the menu.

While the chain is still most prevalent on the West Coast, In-N-Out did announce some exciting expansion plans into at least three new states: New Mexico, Idaho, and Tennessee. While it isn’t quite East Coast, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for more locations and opportunities to enjoy everything In-N-Out has to offer.
