Miu Miu premieres latest "Women's Tales" film
Miu Miu commissioned Malaysian director Chui Mui Tan to create the 27th short film in the brand's ongoing "Women's Tales" series. Titled "I Am the Beauty of Your Beauty, I Am the Fear of Your Fear," it follows Gita, a woman who left China for Malaysia and is now learning how to fight and tap into her own physical and spiritual power. Huda Beauty founder and co-CEO Huda Kattan is back in a leadership role at her eponymous brand, and opened up to WWD about returning it to its roots, the pandemic and increased competition rocked its sales. Matilda Djerf to launch hair care with Avenue Djerf Beauty
Swedish influencer Matilda Djerf, who is known for her signature voluminous blowout and face-framing bangs, is launching her own hair-care venture. Avenue Djerf Beauty debuts on March 27 with two styling products: On The Go Styling Gel for $22 and Breezy Styling Mist for $27. The hair-care line will be available at a pop-up on Greene St. open from March 27 to April 2. On launch day, the line will be exclusively sold at the pop-up for three hours before becoming available online. {Fashionista inbox}
