Pamela Anderson is the cover star for CR Fashion Book Issue 24: "Audacious." Photographed by Roe Ethridge and styled by Elly McGaw, Anderson wears a Tory Burch top and Pandora earrings on the cover. In the accompanying story written by Natalie Shukur, Anderson opens up about self-discovery, family and recent career moves such as her Netflix documentary and bestselling memoir. Barry Keoghan is Burberry's newest brand ambassador
Burberry has tapped "Saltburn" actor Barry Keoghan as its latest brand ambassador. Last year, Keoghan attended the Met Gala as a guest of Burberry, and he recently attended the brand's Winter 2024 show. "I've known Barry for over five years now and have watched him grow into one of his generation's most talented actors," Burberry's Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee said in a statement. "His raw, unique talent is incredibly inspiring and perfectly reflects the spirit of our brand. I am proud to welcome him to the Burberry family." {Fashionista inbox}
Remake releases its 2024 Fashion Accountability Report
Remake's annual Fashion Accountability Report evaluates 52 fashion companies on their corporate accountability efforts regarding the human rights, environmental, economic, and political issues embedded in supply chains. The 2024 report found that the average accountability score stayed the same as last year's: 14 out of 150 possible points. The highest scoring companies included Everlane, H&M Group, Puma and Reformation, while the lowest scores came from Fashion Nova, Missguided, Skims and Temu. Kylie Jenner talks first solo fragrance
Kylie Jenner's first solo fragrance for Kylie Cosmetics, Cosmic, launched Thursday. It's a blend of star jasmine, blood orange, golden amber, red peony and vanilla musk, and Jenner told Vogue that the scent memory of her mother Kris "was definitely a part of the inspiration" for the eau de parfum. {Vogue/paywalled}
Prada Group reveals strong Q4 results
Prada Group released its fourth quarter and full-year financial results on Thursday which showed that the company earned net revenues of €4.7 billion and retail sales of €4.2 billion in 2023, both of which were up 17% year-over-year. Miu Miu's retail growth was up by 58% year-over-year and its fourth-quarter revenue was up 82% year-over-year. "We have successfully delivered on our ambitions in 2023, with excellent performance achieved consistently through the year, as brand desirability grows stronger fueled by a combination of product, communication and retail initiatives," Prada Group CEO Andrea Guerra said in a press release. "Retail productivity and profitability improved for the third consecutive year, thanks to once again strong double-digit, like-for-like growth." {Fashionista inbox}
Nordstrom opens Bode at The Corner shop in NYC
Nordstrom unveiled Bode at The Corner, a limited-time shop located on the corner of 57th and Broadway, marking the first in an ongoing series of pop-ups at Nordstrom's NYC flagship. With prices ranging from $198 to $2,200, the shop features men's and women's ready-to-wear, one-of-a-kind garments and hand-illustrated pieces. "The Corner offers the opportunity for partner brands to express their point of view authentically and holistically design the space as if it was their own," Olivia Kim, SVP of creative merchandising, said in a press release. "Nordstrom has been a longstanding supporter of Bode and we look forward to showcasing this special curation and highlighting the brand to our customers in a new way."
