Jacquemus to stage 15th anniversary show in Capri
For its 15th anniversary, Jacquemus will host a fashion show on June 10 at Casa Malaparte, a modernist Italian villa in Capri. Gabriella Karefa-Johnson talked resigning from Condé Nast, her journey within the fashion industry and speaking her mind in a The New York Times profile written by Vanessa Friedman. Last October, Karefa-Johnson resigned from her position as Vogue's global contributing editor at large and now, she's exploring what her voice in the fashion industry can look like in a post-magazine world. "I was contending with these feelings of like, 'OK, I'm trying to get to the top and be respected in an industry full of people whose values don't align with mine, so what does that say about me?'" Aespa's Ningning is Versace's newest ambassador
Ningning has been named a global brand ambassador for Versace. Ningning is a K-pop star who made her debut in 2020 with the girl group Aespa. "Versace has always been about pushing boundaries of creative expression and championing those who are confident to express themselves, especially in the music world," Ningning said in a press release. "That is why being a Versace Brand Ambassador is so exciting for me. Grace Ling wins inaugural CFDA/Genesis House AAPI Design + Innovation grant
Designer Grace Ling is the first winner of the CFDA/Genesis House AAPI Design + Innovation grant, and she will receive a grand prize of $100,000. Over five months, the participants were challenged to create a collection emphasizing "the tension and balance between their Asian heritage and modernity," WWD reported. Loewe taps Lim Ji-Yeon as brand ambassador
Korean actor Lim Ji-Yeon is Loewe's newest brand ambassador. Ji-Yeon joins fellow ambassadors Taylor Russell and Yang Mi in Loewe's Spring 2024 campaign photographed by David Sims. "Lim Ji-Yeon's vibe really aligns with what we do at Loewe," Jonathan Anderson said in a press release.
