Mum shares recipe to Christmas breakfast her kids 'talk about all year'
While most people would say Christmas is all about presents and spending time with family, there's no denying that food is also a big part of the celebrations.
Christmas dinner might be the highlight of the day in terms of food – but it doesn't take a lot to make Christmas breakfast just as impressive.
A creative mum named Monica Kim went viral on Instagram after sharing how to make a stack of pancakes look like Rudolph's head, which she claimed was a big hit with her kids.

She wrote on the post: "This is officially the most requested breakfast by my kids - well my 4yo at least. She asks about this all year long and can’t wait for me to make it. I’ll be honest, I’m not a great cook but when the holidays come around I try to make it a little bit special for them."
The first thing Monica did was to fry the pancakes and make them into different shapes. For a festive Rudolph plate, she used a large oval pancake for the head, a smaller round one for the muzzle, and two tiny oval pancakes for the ears.
When it came time to plate, she carefully laid the oval pancake as the base, followed by the round one to form Rudolph’s nose. The smaller ovals went on top as ears, and strips of crispy bacon were added behind them to serve as antlers.
But it was when the decorating began that things really started to take shape. Two banana slices with blueberries on top became Rudolph's eyes, while a dollop of whipped cream and a juicy strawberry made the perfect shining red nose.
Viewers were amazed at how simple the the festive stack was to make, with most people saying they wanted to try it out themselves.
"I’m saving it myself for my Christmas breakfast," one person wrote, while another user said: "This is too cute! I’ll have to try this for my kids.."
However one parent shared that her own kids hadn't been a fan of the Rudolph pancakes, saying: "I did this last year and my kid was unimpressed cause her pancakes weren’t cut lol maybe this year they’ll like it."
