Mum-of-22 Sue Radford gives devastating house update after finding 'dream home'

22 Kids & Counting star Sue Radford announced a big change to family life for her husband, Noel, and their 22 children as she revealed on social media that they won’t be moving.

The family had been planning on buying their ‘dream house’ and moving out of their home in Morecambe where they have been living for 11 years. The Radfords spied a beautiful farmhouse which would allow them more privacy. However, the lack of bedrooms would mean five of their eldest children would have to move out.

To solve their problem, Sue decided to let the older children rent out their current Victorian home. But in a recent post, Sue revealed that their plans have all fallen through.

On a post from Sue about 22 Kids & Counting being available on Ch5 in HD, someone asked Sue: “Are you still moving house?”

Sue responded with: “No we aren't but it's all in the series yet to air.” A fan then accused the family of going through the motions “so all that was just for TV ratings and free holidays”.

Sue decided to respond and explained the situation: “No it fell through and we decided that we didn't want a mortgage going into our 60s - too old for that now.”

Sue continued: “I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason and I'm so glad he took it off the market now.”

Fans were supportive, one commented: “Aw what a shame”, another added: “Thought that house was a perfect fit for your family. As long as you are happy, that's all that matters.”

Sue explained before that the family had been hoping to move out after fans kept turning up at their house. During a series of 22 Kids & Counting, Sue said during an episode: "People turning up at the house has definitely become a regular occurrence. They’ll start taking pictures. Then the front gate will open and they’ll start walking up the footpath.

"I’m more than happy to meet people out and about. But I think when it’s your house, it’s just not ok. There’s definitely a line we draw with privacy, I think we have to. When they open the gate and knock on the door, that’s a line you don’t cross."

It comes as Sue has on Sunday 28 April also shared an update for devoted 22 Kids & Counting viewers. She revealed there is only two weeks of filming left on the latest series - and asked what audiences wanted to see from their YouTube channel.
