This Morning's very own Alison Hammond has some fabulous news for her fans she's stepping into the world of panto once again!

After her performance in "Jack and The Beanstalk" at Birmingham Hippodrome last year, Alison is all set to charm audiences as the Magical Mermaid in the upcoming production of Peter Pan.

The bubbly presenter, who recently showed off a slimmer look, couldn't contain her excitement, taking to Instagram to share the news with her impressive 1.5 million followers. She posted a sparkling poster of the show, exclaiming: "I'm back ! ! Peter Pan coming soon to @brumhippodrome @mattslackofficial."

Alison's enthusiasm was palpable as she spoke about her return to the stage, saying: "Birmingham..... I'm back! I'm SO excited to return to the Hippodrome this Christmas in Peter Pan as the Magical Mermaid alongside the hilarious Matt Slack."

Reflecting on her previous panto adventure, Alison, who regularly hosts This Morning with Josie Gibson, reminisced: "I loved every second of Jack and the Beanstalk last year, we had so much fun, but it went by so fast that I had to come back for another. Birmingham is home to the best audiences, and I can't wait to see them all in Neverland soon,reports the Daily Star.

As the buzz intensifies, Jon Gilchrist, Executive Director at Birmingham Hippodrome, shared his excitement about Alison's return: "We are extremely excited to welcome back Birmingham legend Alison Hammond to the Hippodrome for our panto this December."

He couldn't help but reflect on her previous success, saying: "The audience reaction to Alison last year was incredible and we know that she is going to be a fantastic addition to the Peter Pan cast as the Magical Mermaid."

Alison will be joining forces with Matt Slack, the celebrated Best Comic winner at the UK Pantomime Awards, who wowed audiences in last year's Jack and the Beanstalk.

Matt Slack, marking his 11th year in a row, is ready to charm the crowds once more in the upcoming Birmingham Hippodrome production. The news of Alison's comeback has sent her fans into a frenzy, with many expressing their delight on her Instagram announcement.
