TV doctor Tijion Esho swapped services for sex

A TV cosmetic doctor, known for his appearances on ITV's This Morning and other shows, has been found guilty by a medical tribunal of giving free botox to a patient in exchange for sex at his clinic.

Dr Tijion Esho, who also appeared on BBC's Morning Live and E4's Body Fixers, admitted to an improper emotional relationship with the woman, known as Patient A, and acknowledged exchanging "inappropriate" sexual messages with her on Instagram.

However, he denied any physical sexual contact with Patient A, who provided sex services via OnlyFans and webcams. Despite his claims, the Medical Tribunal Practitioners Service (MPTS) hearing in Manchester concluded that Dr Esho did engage in sexual intercourse with Patient A at his Newcastle upon Tyne clinic in 2021 and offered her botox without charge.

The panel also found him saying he "could get away with giving her botox in exchange for sexual services".

Additionally, the tribunal discovered that during a consultation months before, Dr Esho had stroked Patient A's hair and rubbed against her after commenting inappropriately on the shape of her bottom. In a previous year, at another consultation, he made similar comments, rubbed against her, and allowed her to masturbate him, according to the panel's findings.

The doctor, also known as Oluwafemi Esho, was found to have sent "inappropriate" Instagram messages to Patient A between July 2019 and February 2022. One of the exchanges in September 2019 read: "What you doing to me lol. Morning Glory. Bloody have me wanting the real thing. That's like every man's dream."

In November 2019, he messaged: "Why you making me bulge lol. Send more, don't be sorry lol."

The following month, he wrote "Lol loving the tongue" and "Ha free mls I'd need the whole booty and more". Weeks later, he told her: "My God having you for a night/every night is a dream but if we do it for mls I break the doctors code and I'd be a dead man x lol."

The panel ruled that Dr Esho's conduct was sexually motivated, but did not consider Patient A to be vulnerable due to her profession. The hearing will resume later this month to determine whether his fitness to practise has been compromised by his misconduct.

Dr Esho, who regularly appeared on ITV's morning programme to provide medical opinions and discuss cosmetic surgery, was also frequently consulted on Body Fixers for E4, a Channel 4 operated channel, which aired for two seasons in 2016 and 2017. He also made appearances on BBC's Morning Live segments until summer 2022.

The founder of the Esho Clinic, with branches in London, Liverpool and Dubai, Dr Esho boasts a roster of celebrity clients.
