This Morning fans say 'no wonder people switch off' after 'worst ever' episode
This Morning fans were left reaching for their remote controls on Wednesday (February 26) after claiming the programme wasn't meeting its usual content standards.
Viewers of the iconic daytime favourite took to online platforms to declare they were "boycotting the show" after tuning in for another "boring" episode that included a piece about weight loss jabs "again" and a jigsaw contest.
Online users' dismay continued, and complaints soared as two professional puzzlers competed on the show to complete a complex speed jigsaw in a short time frame.
They were later joined by a gadget expert who demonstrated the best cleaning products on the market and Donal Skehan in the kitchen to knock up a six-ingredient banoffee pie.
Despite the extensive list for the day, fans complained that producers "had run out of material", and others threatened to "give up" on the show hosted by Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

Over on X - formerly Twitter - One person moaned: "#thismorning Not sure who is in charge of putting out this daily drivel but, ARE YOU OK." Another stated: "It's no wonder people are switching off, and #thismorning are no longer winning awards!"
A third person vented: "#ThisMorning F****** jigsaws! They've run out of material haven't they." A fourth aired: "If they don't stop banging on about them, weight loss jabs are going to make me give up #thismorning."
Other comments read: "What a disaster of a segment. All those products flopped #thismorning," and "Tomorrow we're getting in four people to watch paint dry #thismorning."
Despite the unwavering echoes of disappointment, some fans enjoyed the show, particularly when Call The Midwife's Stephen McGann appeared to talk to Ben and Cat.
"Stephen McGann is looking very well. God Love him," said one fan, as another wrote: " This morning, Oh, I learnt something new today; his wife writes it #callthemidwife."
Viewers were shocked to learn that Stephen's wife is actually Call the Midwife's creator, Heidi Thomas. The star revealed on the daytime favourite that his wife often gets upset over certain emotional storylines.
He told Cat and Ben that his creative wife would often "be in tears" after writing certain scenes, telling the hosts, "She feels the show in her heart and soul."
This Morning airs on ITV1, weekdays, from 10am.
